Jay Borden started Decisive Directions LLC to create a small, agile firm of skilled professionals dedicated to helping companies reach their potential through innovation, better decision making, strategy and practical alignment. Jay has over 20 years of consulting and business experience that he has employed to advise clients such as JPMorganChase, Credit Suisse, American Express, Morgan Stanley, Wachovia, Kmart, Blockbuster and others on business improvement.

He has created implementable strategies, coached senior executives, reengineered business processes, performed due diligence, valued potential acquisition targets, designed new organizational structures and crafted governance models all to improve shareholder value, enhance performance and position the company for the future without sacrificing quality. The approach is based upon creating a partnership with the client to gain a realistic view of current performance, organizational effectiveness, technology in place, and market and industry conditions.
